Rick Horton

Few works of art are as meditative as the paintings of North Carolina native Rick Horton (1954-1990). He always reached down to his most inner self when painting, going almost to another state of being.

Horton achieved great success in his lifetime, participating in over sixty gallery and museum exhibitions, as well as being collected by institutions such as the Asheville Museum of Art, Duke University Museum of Art, the Mint Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, among others.
