Hopefully you have heard about the Charles White retrospective that opened at the Art Institute in Chicago and is now on view at the Museum of Modern Art in New York through January 13, 2019. You may want to read Holland Cotter's review of the exhibition which appeared last week in the New York Times. Jerald Melberg Gallery loaned the 1930s drawing HELP! CHICAGO to the exhibition. Charles White: A Retrospective will next travel to its last stop, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, from February 7 to June 9.
