We are happy to share this recently published film of Roland Poska working in his studio. The artist, who passed away at the age of 79 last year, had a very distinct style of working with cotton fiber and pure pigment, which are also the building blocks of papermaking. Poska ran a printmaking studio called Fishy Whale Press in addition to his own studio practice, which produced large scale, multi-paneled "papestries." He had a brilliant color sense and a unique way of working that is clearly illustrated in the film. Please click the image below to access the film.
